Date: 2.4.2024

Activity: 

- Downloaded the Gamejam Skeleton and imported Gamedev Kit into it

- Created a new repository on MFF Gitlab for the game and uploaded the empty skeleton there

- Created the layout of the whole level (first pass)

Notes:

I've never used Unity with Git before so it took me more time than expected to set it up correctly. I've also had to install git-lfs and then enable it correctly. This took me two tries because it was not enabled on cloning and thus assets were not imported.

For the project progress I've only setup the layout of the whole level. This is only a first pass so I will probably adjust sizing to fit all objects / work correctly with jump height (have not yet implemented the boosted jump height).

Invested hours: 

Setting up GameJam Skeleton and Git: 2 hours

Creating the layout: 1.5 hours

Outcome:

Uploaded the work in progress project to MFF Gitlab.
